Welcome!Hello! If you are someone who is interested in DBT and what it’s all about, check out our What is DBT? page. If you are seeking treatment, the internet is a lovely resource, but here is one site to help you with your search.
If you are someone currently in treatment or graduating from DBT treatment, please make sure you have applied to join our AfterDBT Message Boards! |
For all parties, there is a resource page listing the DBT skills from in the last manual, as well as a list of DBT-oriented apps for your mobile devices, plus some websites. Included in each module page are some helpful links to get you to use your skills!
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to contact us!

Disclaimer: After DBT is a peer-led site of DBT graduates from The Ebright Foundation, LLC dedicated to helping each other be as skillful as possible. Please do not place your peers at risk by addressing any Stage 1 target behaviors here (i.e. let’s not talk about life-threatening or life-interfering behaviors on this site). Luckily, most Stage 1 target behaviors are simply avoidance of other problems, and we would be happy to help each other with those problems! If you do require direct assistance with a Stage 1 target behavior, however, please use your skills, contact your therapist if you have one, or call the national lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. They can connect you to the local crisis center if necessary.
In addition, no one here can be held liable for any actions or life-threatening behaviors. This includes both clients and professionals at the Ebright Foundation, LLC, as no one can reasonably commit to assuming responsibility for postings or behaviors of individuals on this site. This site is not to be used as a substitute for therapy or professional help of any kind. After DBT is not HIPAA compliant, so please know that you post at your own risk.
With all that legal stuff out of the way, we DO believe that DBT skills are great and we, as peers, can help each other continue to use them in our lives long after treatment!
